Fall Open House @ Fly South Outfitters

Fly South Fall Open House! And a chance to do some good together! We’re looking forward to seeing folks here in the shop for a fall open house on October 26th. We’ll have gear demos set up out back, lunch from our ever-popular friends at Calidogs, and some good discussion about fall fishing in our area. As we were getting ready to announce this last week, flood waters devastated East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Southwest Virginia. On the 26th we’re going to have a silent auction running for some awesome rare items, raffle tickets for a load of door prizes. Show up, bid on some things, and grab raffle tickets to support or friends east of here who are just starting a long road to recovery. We’re going to work with the East Tennessee Fund, the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, and the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund to get the funds to the impacted communities. Thanks to @southerncultureonthefly for stepping early for fly shops and guides in the area, and well continue to work with them to ensure the fly fishing community in the area is able to get back on its feet as soon as they can. The Fly South community is tight-knit, and it’s time to show up and support other tight-knit communities east of here. We’ll see you in the shop on the 26th!!
